I am honored to share that I have been nominated for the 2025 Brave Women Project Pillar awards for the Empower Award – a recognition that already feels like a win in itself.

This award celebrates women who guide others towards their goals equipping them with resources and real-world support. It honors those who, through their words and actions, help others find their voice and claim their power.

I purposely waited to share this, wanting to sit with what it truly meant. I was amazed at the buzz surrounding the announcements. These awards recognize women who:

  • Educate – Teach
  • Empower – Advocate
  • Encourage – Cheerlead
  • Engage – Connector and
  • Evolve – make change (Changemaker)

When I read my Empower nomination written by my coach Beth Caldwell – leader of Pittsburgh Professional Women (PPW) and so many inspiring initiatives – I felt seen, moved, and encouraged. She captured qualities I try to live by, but also brave moments of my journey that I hadn’t fully recognized. Her words reminded me of the power of having someone believe in you and the importance of paying that forward. Thank you, Beth.

The Brave Women project is new to me, but I’m already inspired by its amazing membership and creative approach to networking – sparking conversations not with “What do you do?” but with “What are you reading, watching, or listening to?” It’s such a thoughtful and refreshing way to truly get to know someone.

I’m looking forward to learning more about this community, celebrating my fellow nominees, and continuing to grow as a woman who helps others find their voice and claim their power.

Congratulations to all the nominees!
